We Want YOU!

Have you always wanted to be a Carolina Rollergirl? We have tryouts about every 3 months!  Start preparing now.

Are you bored? Looking for some action? Did you play sports when you were younger and now you miss being a part of a team? Or maybe you’re looking for a fun and challenging workout to get in shape? Or make some friends? These are all perfect reasons to join our league! And there are many many more!

CRG try-outs are closed to the public, only trainers and skaters that are trying out are allowed. The space is very tight on “extra room.” No children are allowed in the warehouse for safety reasons, but bad-ass moms are strongly encouraged. Thank you for your understanding. We want to keep things rolling at an efficient pace since we have limited space and time.

What equipment must I wear during tryouts?
• helmet
• elbow pads
• knee pads
• wrist guards
• roller skates
A few pairs of skates are available to borrow in a VERY limited size range. It is highly recommended that you bring your own skates. Try to borrow a pair from someone you know. No inline skates, traditional quads only.

What equipment is optional to wear during tryouts?
• mouthguard (will be required once you are doing contact drills in the future)
• butt pads
• knee gaskets, etc.
Limited protective gear is available to borrow on a first come, first serve basis.

What type of clothing should I wear?
You should wear something COMFORTABLE. A tank top or t-shirt is perfect with athletic shorts or capris. And don’t forget socks.

What else do I need to bring with me?
• a bottle of water for you to drink to stay hydrated
• proof of age
• proof of insurance
• a positive attitude

For insurance purposes, you will be required to sign a waiver before participating in CRG tryouts. Please email us at joinus@carolinarollergirls.com for more information and to RSVP. We’d love to know you’re coming!

The Carolina Rollergirls hold tryouts quarterly throughout the year, so if you miss out this time, get prepared for next time! More info on how at Join Us.
