What Matt loves about women’s flat track roller derby:  “The game moves quick & the rules are interesting.”

His first roller derby experience ever was with the Carolina Rollergirls at the May 21 Derby Expo at Dorton Arena! Matt came to the all day derby fest with a friend who is the younger brother of a Carolina Rollergirl. He was happy he got to see many games at the expo – that was a good first time experience and helped him understand the sport.

The Carolina Rollergirls would like to thank Matt Nisbet for his sticker design and send a shout out to our other contestants – thanks guys!

The Carolina Rollergirls can be seen in Raleigh for the third annual SponsorSip Pub crawl on June 18th, 2011. We’ll be traipsing through our sponsors’ establishments and if you’re lucky, maybe we’ll give you a one of our cool new stickers. 😉
