Get ready for a fun filled night. The Carolina Rollergirls conclude their 2014 season with the Local Team Championship! Join us at Wheels on Sunday, November 30th, doors open at 6:30pm, to catch the show down: the Durham Crash vs. the Raleigh Ruckus.
Not only is this our championship bout, it is also a charity bout. We will be holding a silent auction with 100% of proceeds going to Women’s Center of Wake County. Local companies and skaters are donating items for the silent auction so now is your opportunity to get cool items while helping a worthy organization.
Raleigh Beard and Mustache Club will be judging a half time handmade beard contest. Kids of all ages can participate by creating their own handmade beard at the craft table.
Need to get some holiday shopping done? Who wouldn’t love to see a Carolina Roller Girls shirt under the tree this Christmas? We will have new merchandise, so be sure to visit our merch booth!
We will also have our Penny Jars there to continue our Penny Jar War competition between the 3 Local teams in the Triangle. Bring pennies to fill the jars of your favorite teams put silver coins and bills in the jars of your less favorite team. Each penny counts as +1 point, each silver coin or bill counts as a – point for it’s value (ex. a quarter is -25 points). The team that ends the season with the highest point value WINS! It’s really just a popularity contest, folks. Who’s YOUR favorite team? The winner will be announced at the end of the season.
