Why wait until May for the suspense of the 2014 NFL draft? In a few short weeks your very own Carolina Rollergirls will be holding a draft party of their own! Remember the Trauma Queens and Debutante Brawlers? Well those teams officially retired at the end of the 2013 season and now CRG will be debuting three brand spanking new ones thanks to the many additions we have added to our skating family.
Bootleggers and All Stars alike will make up these three teams, each one with their own special home team swagger! We will be representing three major areas of the Triangle with our new teams, Raleigh Ruckus, Durham Crash, and Chapel Thrillers. So come out to Lonerider in Raleigh on Friday, March 7th at 7pm and see what team your favorite rollergirl gets drafted to! Stay around after the draft announcement and be sure to mingle with the skaters and enjoy the incredible food and drinks Lonerider has to offer. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars for our first intra-league bout Sunday, March 23rd at Wheels Fun Park in Durham. Doors open at 6 pm and the first whistle will blow at 6:30 pm.
